This lamp focuses on simplicity and functionality. Adjusting the height is as easy as lifting the front, with no screws or tools required. It holds itself up through its own weight, inside a metal core to guarantee stiffness and to bring the light as far onto the workspace as possible. The long lamp would need to compensate for leverage with a big and heavy base. Therefore, to save on materials and costs, I decided to opt for a ceiling clamp pole.
